First egg, concerned.

my girls laid their first egg. I’m 99% sure it was my smaller red sex link. The egg was smallish and was pecked at; however, the shell didn’t look like it was formed all the way around and there was quite a bit of white that oozed out, more than it should from the small peck hole. I wasn’t too worried about it until now. It’s been past the 26 hour mark and no new egg yet. I checked her vent and it looks like there is old egg white stuck back there. She’s acting normal. Should I be concerned or just clean her up and wait?

Forgot to post the picture of the egg. Sadly I tossed it before I saw the unformed bit on the bottom.

Not unusual for first eggs to be imperfect. And not unusual either for the next egg(s) to be sporadic, laid at odd times or in odd locations, etc.
