First incubator hatch, with shipped and local eggs

I ordered from Bresse Farms (NPIP certified) and I grabbed 1 dozen each of Swedish Flower hen and Crested Cream Legbar.

Awesome! I am hatching Legbar eggs in May! Would love to see pics once yours hatch! (Of both, but especially the legbars)!

The eggs have arrived safely, except one, but there was an extra. They are absolutely filthy though and at least one is bloody. This was shocking to me as my chicken's eggs and nests are perfectly clean, at all times. Sure, I get the occasional blood streak or poop smear, but it's one out of 30 eggs. I hope they are well cared for and healthy.

They are sitting, blunt end up (which is how they were extremly well packed BTW), in some egg cartons, awaiting darkness so I can candle them to check air cells.
