Hey! If y'all are still following, the babies are biting me, it doesn't hurt, but it will when they grow up.
It's like they do to each other, or when they clean themselves.
I have been flicking them when they do it.
Will me punishing them cause them to not like people?
Is there a more useful way to get them to stop?
It doesn't bother me when they bite my fingers, but they have been biting my face also.

hey nice ducks. i raised Indian runners from when they hatched. they will bite eachother a little and it could be because there eyes arnt fully developed. but they do preen themselfs by combing there feathers with their beek and that could be what they are doing. please correct me if im wrong but i dont think you should worry about them doing it and definitely not flick them that could cause trauma in the future. when i gt my face close up to them they might bite me a little and i just grab thre beak and hold it and give it nice gentle strokes with my thumb or fingers
