First time hatching

I could feel and see one moving yesterday but haven't seen any internet pips and haven't heard, felt, or seen anything since last night. I'm hoping it's not a quitter but it might be. And the chick that hatched, there was a big light yellow mucus-y gold on the egg, what was that?

That might have been the umbilical cord, or something else

It was just stuck to the outside of the egg, and some of it was on the outside of one of the other eggs from her walking around

Its probably the umbilical cord.

It was probably remnants of the "cord" and membranes and/or it could have had a bit of unabsorbed yolk on it. If there is any yolk at the "navel" then there's precautions that should be taken.
