First week with my new chickens

They are all beautiful chickens! Nice little flock you got there.

Post photos of your rooster stranger at "what breed or gender is this." They should be able to tell you. If you have even a short telephoto lens on a camera, you should be able to get a defining photo of him from a distance, without spooking him.

So I just got my first two chickens...I decided to get them already laying...white sexlink...let the kids name them...never allow this to happen because their names end up being Juan and Two...the next 4 I pick up on Thursday...thought this would be a good way to make everything works good!
Here they are! I live near a livestock auction house...as soon as I set them free in their new home a run away rooster showed up...crazy! I have no idea what kind of rooster he is...smaller than both of my new hens! Off to a good start! Can't wait to get my first eggs!

What did the rest of your hens get named? Three, Four, Five, and Six? lol. That's cute!
