I believe driftwood can change the water, anything organic can can affect it I believe, so that's probably why you are seeing a difference. Also older tanks can have different readings than newer tanks.

How are you doing Muddy? I was gave 30 lbs of this chicken and its spicy . I cant read the why. Maybe can soak it off or ???

Idk but doesn’t sound very healthy with all those additives!

Probably the chili powder or “spice extractives” is what’s adding the spice. It’s probably soaked in it since it has all that other stuff in it but you might be able to wash some of it off.
