I have a four birds; a Turken(age3), a RIR(age2) and two bantams, polish(1) and Japanese(1)bantam.
I notice my turken and my RIR are losing weight. So I’m deworming them as I know they havemore than a sufficient diet( layer pellets, scratch, plenty of fruits and veg, and cat treats).
I need help dosing their water. I’ve bought Piperazine dihydrochloride 53%.
it says “mix 400 g with 200 kg of feed or 325 L of water this will treat at 1250 layers or 3100 boilers treat birds every 30 to 60 days starting at six weeks.”

What dosage should I use for a 4 litre waterer? As I have a super small flock? I don’t wanna make them sick. And how often do I repeat it?
Thanks in advance!
ALSO: any ways to help the girls gain weight? I worry about them even though they’re all still very active and eating and drinking.

Maybe I'm off on this, but if possible I'd do a 1 L batch with 1.25 g every 30-60 days. I give my chickens black oil sunflower seeds which helps fatten them up and gives them nice shiny feathers.
