One has to order them and then pick a date for their delivery.

Then there are those silkie eggs my niece will hatch. Hopefully Teddy is getting the job done .

Well in my professional opinion they are known as ‘friggin adorable chicks’ breed of chicken

I love your idea of using the egg crate for feed - I am going to use that if I ever have chicks again

Do they use their little box nest? That’s exactly n what I was thinking

I tried a cardboard egg carton for feed when I did the emergency transfer of the Spuds, but it's too light, they kept flipping it over when they scrambled on it!
Maybe attached with clips to something would work...

Oh isn’t that the way hahaha - 3 days yep I feel your pain there.
I miss working pipeline, if I could get full time fly in fly out I would be all over that like flies on horse poop
