Frizzle bums...

Fifibreen, they're both Frizzles (actually two different birds). I've been wanting Frizzles for several years now (since I was about eight, actually... and since I'm now sixteen, that makes it around half my life! Wow! Anyway...) and I'd just about given up hope of getting any when a lady near us put in a classified add that she was giving away Frizzle roosters for free! Wow! I got two and my sister got one. Within two weeks someone else nearby advertised Silkie/Frizzle crosses for reasonably cheep, too. I was amazed at it all! My roosters are now (im)patiently waiting for the Silkie/Frizzle chicks (3 weeks old) to grow up.

I really like Frizzles actually; I might even go so far as to say they're my favourite breed. They lay well and mine are quite calm and friendly most of the time. They're also a good talking point because lots of people comment on how strange they look!

PS, the not-so-fluffy bum in the background of the top picture is an OEG Bantam.
