fox or cat?

Been out to clean out my chickens about 2 hours ago. Just went out to check on them and it seems I've had a visitor of some sort. Any ideas wether it was a fox or a cat? I'm hoping for a cat but guessing more likely a fox. This is at 5pm in the middle of a built up area.

Here's some poo I found at the scene aswel.

Any help appreciated.

Fox is my guess. Cats seldom dig more than to hide something like food or poop. Try placing some boards on ground along perimeter of coop. Will make digging particularly aggravating for whomever is doing causing it to move on.

In my experience, cats are the bottom if the pecking order, chickens are the boss! I wouldn't expect a cat to go after chickens!

Check for hair or fur on the chicken wire.

Couldn't see any hair or fur around the scene.
Let's hope that whatever it was, hit my chicken wire that's buried and decided it's not worth it
