as trick or treat-- the candies will be inspected --anything opened will be throw away but that was years ago. we are too old for trick or treat now a day
I suspect you mean you visually inspect the candy? Why can't you do the same with an egg? You can even test the 'freshness' of the egg with the float test...
how about accepting opened drinks from stranger at a bar? do you want to take the risk (especially for women) ? it's up to you.
Are you saying these eggs are already out of the shell aka opened like your drink example? If not you analogy is apples to oranges...
and again it's personal preference. I'll not accept foods/drinks from a stranger period.
And that is AOK if that is what you choose, glad to know you know everyone that you buy food and drink from and who they might have purchased it from, I certainly can't say the same...
**oh.. there's someone giving away a rooster.. unless you live in the rural area or county land..it's not allowed here
So you are saying someone in your area can't take it and make soup or stew? That is where almost all free roosters in my area end up, doesn't matter if there are laws against keeping them most 'free' roosters on Craiglist are destined for the oven not the coop... Plus I'm guessing there are people outside city/town limits that read Craigslist, I know I do, that is where I got my free llamas, my free goats, some roosters and other things that many can't have in my area (even across the street) but I can since I live on a farm and i'm zoned rural estate/agriculture and I read Craigslist as well...
