Free Range Pigeons?

I have friends who do not have aerial predators, and their pigeons are able to go in and out all day/night long. Apparently no night predators either, at least nothing that goes after the birds (maybe something, like rats, that might go after the eggs...and the parents would be around to help protect any babies that were in danger).

So it does depend on your situation like that.

Very FEW in the pigeon forums here are in a situation with no flying predators.
