Garlic for mites??

Will garlic help keep mites off the chickens? I read an article that said to take 5-6 cloves of garlic (not the whole bulb), Put in the blender with 2-3 cups of water and then add that to about 2-3 gallons of water and give as the only water source for a day or so to keep the parasites/worms down. Do you think that would work against mites as well??

Don't think so, it typically doesn't work well against the worms either.. It can help i hear, but shouldn't be counted on..
