Genetic throwback or mutation?

Hi all, I’m hoping some very clever people here might be able to shed some light?
I have a little polish x Araucana who has never grown feathers. She just grew silver fluff much like a silkie.
I’ve had dozens of chicks from her parents And two generations before (personality galore and good sized blue eggs from small to medium birds, no vaulted sculls, robust chicks, hence I keep breeding them as pets) over several years most chicks have been black or dark blue with just one or two silver or grey a season But never one with down like fluff after the first few weeks. I haven’t had silkies for the last 15 years so no possible crossing.
im wondering if this is a fault where she’s missing the ‘H‘ or a possible throwback? She has no extra toes and pale pink skin.

great grandmother was pure white bantam crested polish X dad a lavender Araucana.
grandmother was black with Araucana traits X lavender Araucana male
mum is white with polish size but no crest X lavender Araucana
which has given me a feisty fluffy little ninja named Yennifer.

Not they first time there is a spontaneous silkie mutations, there is a line of silkie RIR that came about they same way

Wow, thank you Nicalandia. I haven't seen one in 16 years of breeding. Lucky me to have Yennifer. I'm wondering if she does have 'h' instead of 'H' for feathering if her chicks to a silkie rooster would be fluffy too? But with blue egg genes? Exciting to hear more from anyone with more scientific info.
