getting ready for eggs what do I need to do?

We bought a used incubator, don't even know if it works yet. what do I need to do. from what I've read we need to clean it out and plug it in right. then what? Crystal

Plug it in, and leave it on for a day. Check on the temp, make sure it's stable (it should be 100). There should be a place to put water, too.

How big is it? Does it have a fan?

Oh, and google "chick incubators help", or something like that--I kind of depended on google until I stumbled on this site :3
