So I know that I have a pregnant doe because I did a pregnancy test and it turned out positive plus I try to pay attention to my goats but I’m just a little confused I’m pretty new at this goat stuff I’ve only had them since July so she is a mini Nubian she is pretty small for being pregnant so I’m guessing one kid cause she’s never been pregnant before anyway I’m trying to figure out about when she might kid I can’t feel her pin bones anymore I can grab around where her tail begins and wrap my fingers around and they touch so she has to be close right? But in the pic of her vulva is it normal for it to look like this it’s quite puffier than it looks in the photos and the other pics were taken a few weeks ago she’s also shown signs of stretching pawing and restlessness such as she can’t ever decide if she wants to get up or lay down and she keeps trying to get comfortable when laying down but it’s almost like she can’t
Does her vulva look ready to give birth???

Hard to say if she's pregnant by pictures. She's not bagged up but sometimes they don't that until right before.

Generally you can gently bump kids on the right side of the belly later in a pregnancy. Also the right side pushes out further late in pregnancy as the kids are carried on that side.

The first stage of labor they will lose the mucus plug and usually you can see that.

Just by your pictures I would say if she's pregnant she's not that close yet from my experiences with pregnant does.

Pawing could be trying to get a comfortable spot to lay or sometimes stomach problems.

I agree with @oldhenlikesdogs, if she’s pregnant she’s not very far along, otherwise she would be bagged up and have a bit of mucus on her back end. First fresheners usually start bagging up about a month before they’re due to kid, and then their udder gets super tight and almost shiny right before kidding. My does almost always have a bit of mucus towards the end of pregnancy, just to make me wonder

Do you know when she was bred exactly? I ran July breeding dates through the AGS Gestation Calculator , and for a July breeding date the last possible due date would be January 2, anything earlier than that and she would have kidded already 🙂 I know it’s a weird question, but what kind of a pregnancy test did you use? Human tests won’t work on goats, and the urine tests that they sell aren’t all that accurate, so a blood test is generally the most accurate one to use 🙂
