I would agree, however I ordered Golden Sex Links, New Hampshire Reds and Rhode Island Reds. Thats not to say that it's impossible that a Buff could have gotten mixed in, but seems unlikely.

Oops, I posted on my own post. My goof. )It looks like a Golden Sex Link chick. The feathers coming in on it are a little too reddish to be a Buff Orpington, but a little too light for a Rhode Island Red or New Hampshire chick.
That looks like pasty butt. You need to be checking vents at least two or three times a day. If they get pasty butt, the vents need to be cleared as soon as possible. It is fatal if left like that, as you have sadly found out. It's usually caused by some sort of stress, either from transport, getting too hot, getting too cold, being too crowded, or if the brooder is in too noisy a spot.
