Good Breeders/ Hatcheries in Fresno California Area

Anybody know of anywhere to get chickens around here?

I know Belt Hatchery is located in Fresno. I have 8 pullets I bought from a feed store that uses Belt. All are healthy & laying. Have you checked at any of the feed stores in Clovis? Fresno State has an ag program. Maybe they could get a line on some chickens for you.

Yup, the Fresno hatchery is Belt in south Fresno. They sell the day-old for shipping and to the feed stores. Or, you can go there and ask at the gate for the day-old. Also, around the second week of October they sell off their year-olds and start new stock.
