Hard to find any close that has birds to part with if breeds I want. Insane!

Silkies are very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. old and sometimes not till they crow or lay an egg. My friend in Illinois has gotten some gorgeous silkie pullets from "Sundown Waterfowl," in Germantown, NY. I don't know if the woman still advertises on BYC buy,sell,trade forum but, she used to show several photos of each bird and a description, for instance if she felt it was just breeder quality she would say why, etc.

She used to sell the started birds in fall after her last cut when deciding what to keep for her own show/breeders.
