got my DE.... is this right??

Perma-guard has an anti caking agent in it. (Read the bag) It can get lumpish but mine just rinses away in the misty rain where exposed to the elements in the exterior parts of the coop but it still leaves a fine trace on every surface.

I, too, puff mine around with a garden sprayer.

RChicks: DE is a natural pesticide. It’s used to keep critters off of chickens safely. Go here for a pic: http://www.ghorganics.com/DiatomaceousEarth.html

Sweet
PDZ is used to eliminate urine (ammonia) smells. I thought it was usually used for horse stalls but it is safe so I guess it can be used for chickens as well. I only have a few so it’s not an issue….yet.
