2PM today my first 6 chicks arrived (3 Golden Star, 3 white Leghorn). They were all very active as soon as I put them in the brooder box and I dipped each ones beak in the chick waterer. Within a few minutes they were all drinking heartily. A few minutes later they were eating.
I want to say thank you to all those who have contributed to the forum. Their experience enabled me to get my chicks off to a good start. I'll post pictures soon.
P.S. I have 6 Delaware chicks coming next week.
