I probably haven't spent more time talking with you guys compared to talking with others, but I definitely enjoy talking with you guys the most. Y'all are such a fun, wise, and interesting group!!

I really enjoy your posts and your pictures. You are intelligent and a talented artist and I think you are very brave trying all the new things, especially with the animals. At your age I was pretty oblivious to opportunities available. I'm glad you joined our little group.

There's a "window of opportunity" for housebreaking, and if you miss it, it's gone. If a pup is toileting in it's crate, it's pretty much a lost cause.

for the better part of 30 years I have wanted a basset hound. Mom said you cant house break them. I bet she never tried.

I've known people with bassets. They were housebroken.

I had a pug I couldn't housebreak. But we got her from a pregnant woman who kept her in a crate in a third-floor apartment and she also had a two-year old. The pup was about 12 weeks old when we got her. I should have known it was a lost cause.
