Green Club

Really he's freshwater! I thought I seen something similar to him at walmart. They only sell the red ones here. He's dyed like the glo fish? I though it was natural. Are they aggressive fish?

GloFish are genetically engineered. He's dyed. He'll eventually lose his color over time. Glofish will not.

They can be aggressive. I wouldn't put them with any calm fish. They do fine with Oscars and other Cichlids.

Thanks for the info

I'll have a near empty 55 gallon aquarium this spring. Do they get big? I had an oscar who was 6 years old but he died last year(power went out). That green one doesn't look harmful

They generally get up to 6 - 7" (15-17.5 cm), they can reach 8" (20 cm).
A 30 gallon tank will be fine for young ones for the first few years, but a 55 gallon is ideal.

Yes actually. When I ran my store in Florida, I had a 300 gallon with Nurse Sharks in the store. I have a few aquariums that have some baby cat sharks in them now. Some hatched from eggs, some not.
