New to the site (family of 5)... really looking to gain knowledge on raising chickens in the tropical climate that we have here.

Little data about our area:

180ish days of rain every year.
Wet season - June through October
2000' ASL with 70-75 almost every day. Cool in the evenings, down to 60's.

5 acres (rocky but most useable). First time raising chickens but want to possibly turn into profit or at least pay for feed/supplement and care etc etc.
