Growing reddish combs/wattles, strong predictors?

Can we go ahead and say that if our chicks are growing larger than usual combs and they’re turning pink red early on, around 3-5 weeks, that this is a strong indiciatoe of a cockerel? I only have 1 year experience sexing and this has been true. I have had a late developing cockerel whose comb didn’t turn until closer to 8-10weeks, but otherwise I’ve found I could tell by 6-8 weeks when the comb is larger and redder than others.

Is the early developing female an actual thing? Does anyone have experience and pictures of a chick who developed a large red comb early on but was a pullet? I’ve heard people say this but don’t quite believe it haha.

The reason I ask is because I have a chance to rehome my cockerels early in their life to a lovely home and don’t want to assume too much:) I have a few 3-5 week olds who I’m guessing about. Will post one suspect 5 weeks old and then 3 week old. Thanks for any input! FEA1EFBA-86FF-4C08-A10B-A3C78E0AE23A.jpeg A5CDB44D-F2C6-4658-9960-E34A867B3A18.jpeg

First one is definitely a cockerel. Second one I would wait for the pink. I’ve had sapphire gems develop early but not turn reddish pink until later. These pictures are of the same chick at 2 and 3 weeks.
