You should get one, I always like to have 1 rooster or cockerel in my flock, I think it makes the hens fell safe and comfortable

in my neighborhood you're not allowed to have a rooster

i don't think i have enough hens to go around.

I have four Silkie roos. I wanted A Silkie hen. Oh well, I'm over that now. But I love my boys. They are unique in their individual ways.
