I just bought a guinea keet and it holds its wings out stiffly about 1/2" from the body. Any ideas on this? Can't find a thing on the internet.

I just realized that the stiff looking feathers I'm seeing are actually below what I perceive to be the wings? Maybe this is a growth pattern on guineas. I panicked because I'd not seen this type of growth.Sorry, just realized angel wing is only in waterfowl. But this thread may help you figure out what it is. Sounds like its normal, if its the same thing. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/guineas-w-angelwing.341063/
