Happy with Cackle shipment!

I hadn't ordered from a hatchery before, and I was expecting the worst. BUT, the chickies are here (15 ee pullets, 10 wellsummer pullets and 2 welsummer cockerels that I ordered, plus an extra ee) and very active and healthy-- don't seem stressed at all! Everybody seems to be eating/ drinking/ resting normally.

I'm so grateful to the hatchery for packing them well and to the postal worker who called me so early this morning to let me know they were here.

my order is coming may 23rd i waited to long to call. but my turkeys and ducks are coming next week. yahh.

I have read good recommendations for Cackle Hatchery as well as Ideal Hatchery. I an surprised that you ordered from Cackle rather than Ideal..since Ideal is in Texas, as are you. But, they are BOTH known as good hatcheries, as are many others.
