my new ex battery hen has been with my roo for about two weeks so the eggs should be fertile
so i put 2 of her eggs in the bator

I candled one egg and I couldnt see any movement. No pips since this morning. I'm worried because I have a poultry show in Delaware that I'm leaving for tomorrow night.

Cracked open the other 23 eggs. Chicks fully formed but dead. My humidity wasn't high enough

I am thankful for the five silkies that made it.

Just for my own reference, what was your humidity at? Wanna make sure I am doing it right.

Hey all. Chicks due tomorrowish! Wondering about humidity. When the first chick hatches, the humidity goes up, right? Do I need to worry about that? Do I adjust? Or just let it go up and down with each chick.

Is this an issue at all? Thanks!
