I know the possibility of getting some live turkey poults is low, given my total lack of experience with turkey hatching, but I just came back from the PO with 13 fertile turkey eggs. Throw in the fact that I have never tried to hatch shipped eggs and I am a "nervous nelly" as these eggs sit in a tray (fat end up) adjusting to my house temp. I know they should sit this way 24 hrs so I plan on putting them in my incubator tomorrow. I already have some chicken eggs in there. Any advice about about shipped eggs and air cells, turner or not?, candleing, etc. would be most appreciated. Thanks!
