Hey everybody. I'm posting some questions for a friend who lives up north. Her sister found some wild duck eggs and took them to her house to hatch. I'm assuming the nest was abandoned or she wouldn't have done this.
Anyway, one of the eggs has hatched just yesterday and she said the duckling isn't walking or eating much. Is this normal behavior?
She will be contacting a wildlife rehabilitator this morning but in the mean time asked if I had any information. I know there are plenty of members who can answer these questions for her.
