We got this recipe from a chicken and exotic bird breeder...
Anti parasitic, Great for colours, feathers and combs, Good for their gut and has some Carbohydrates and Protein...

2 x cups rice cooked Al dente...drain and let cool...
Mix with
1 good sized bunch of fresh Oregano chopped finely...
1/2 cup Coconut oil...
2 x 125g cans of Sardines in Tomato Sauce...
Separate into 4 x plastic containers, freeze 3 and keep one in the fridge...

We originally used it as a treat, but with the difference it made to our 4 Pekin girls, we now give them a little each day when we feed them layer mix...They scoff it down first and then fill up on the layer mix...
