Heat plate burning Naked Neck head?

I have a week old turken in my brooder with a heat plate. I’m pretty sure it’s resting its little head against the top of it and it’s gotten a burn on its head.

I’m afraid to raise it up higher because I thought you wanted their backs to touch the heat plate? Should I raise it? Move her to a heat lamp brooder?

Also, what can I put on this? I was using a little Vetericyn Plus on a q-tip just to try and help but I’ve never had this happen with a chick before and it’s the first time I’ve had a Turken and first time I’ve seen one get a little burn.
