Heat?

i have 2 heat lamp but they make me nervous. Wanting to get one of the heat things they can get under. What are they called and where can I find em. Which ones are the best?

The cheapest way to get a heat set-up where the chicks can crawl under is the heating pad system. It's much cheaper than heat plates. Google has a number of them listed for your information. https://www.google.com/search?q=heat+plates+for+chicks&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1

Brinsea, Premier, and Ecoglo are all brand name heat plates, but much more expensive than a heating pad system that you can set up using a sturdy wire frame and a heat pad that will remain on indefinitely instead of turning itself off in two hours.
