Height of a chicken door.

mine is 10x10, I have LF Favoralles, and they fit without a problem, the smaller door also lets in less wind in the cold winter months.

My pop door is 9w x 13h. The birds will go through opening as low as 10 inches but the tail feather will rub constantly.

My biggest bird is a black Australorp.

We don't have any chickens yet, still working on finishing the coop, but our door is 12"w x 14"h. Hopefully they find it comfortable.

Sounds like a lot of people install the chicken doors.

We thought it would be cute and it would keep the hawks from
flying into the pen.
