Where did you get your brown reds ?

Really like those Silver Blues!!! Will you be selling hatching eggs in the future? (I would LOVE some!)

Yes definitely once I hatch me a few first lol. Alrdy got couple eggs today so hopefully won't be long with 6 hens should do fine.

Where did you get your brown reds ?

I got the brown reds and crele from guy in bell buckle Tennessee listed on craigslist. And the duck wings from Sparta ten. They are very good natured and don't mind being handled. Like pets.

This is Thunder my Self Blue OEGB (deceased). He had fowl pox. That is why his comb is so bad.

I was told on the "What breed or gender is this?" section that these are OEGB. My questions are: Are the OEGB? And what color are they? I got the recently at a swap, the guy couldn't remember the breed they were. And I forget to ask what hatchery they came from.

They are OEGBs. Looks like the roo and lighter color hen is silver blue and darker hen is birchen.

They look a little different from my silver blue duckwings but I'm knew to the silver blues also. I have 3 trios all are very similiar . Thanks

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the silver blue is the blue version of a birchen. The black in a birchen is replaced by blue. Breeding a silver blue to a birchen should give you both colors in the chicks.

I can't find a single hatchery that sells OEG lemon blue bantams. They sell all the other colors. I'm getting frustrated. I live in Georgia, and I was hoping that any of y'all could help me. I was going to get a rooster and some more hens to go along with Burnett my current OEG Lemon Blue Hen. Is there another color they would go up under?
