New city chicken raiser from Erie PA here. I raised 50-75 capons at a time on the farm back in my 4H days but now live in town and have 6 hens for eggs and they have been laying now for almost a month.
It has been great and these girls are much more like pets and part of our outdoor family.
Good information on the site and have enjoyed peoples stories and hints.
Will post up photos and more information soon. Probally questions too. Just had a bunch of questions answered reading the recent winter thread.
