We keep chickens in town too. It's pretty awesome.

Hey Rob,

Glad to see someone in the Erie area, we camp just west of you near East Springfield.... that is practically neighbors by Pennsylvania standards! LOL

We have moved now to the country with our birds and are adjusting. Working to get a new more secure coop built and in use.

However in the last week a raccoon got 4 of the 6 hens.

The raccoon is now dead.

Will have to get some more hens either grown or chicks when the new coop is secure. Will be browsing for suggestions for merging flocks/adding chicks.

We got our origional chicks from tractor supply in the spring. will be lookign for other sources. do not want to wait that long and would like to get some Araucana if possible.
