I have a little silkie showgirl that I’ve made a good about of posts about on here due to her EXTREME stunted growth, skin condition, and respiratory issues.
After lots of intensive care and trial and error shes finally doing good. No more meds, no more hand feedings needed, and no more skin condition. She’s eating, drinking, and I can’t say it was enough relief finally growing (she’s COVERED in pin feathers). It’s only the past 2-3 weeks that she’s pulled together this well. But now I’ve been noticing her beak on the bottom isn’t quite aligning anymore. She’s got like an underbite. Her eyes and beak are really big (like they kept growing while she didn’t. At 2 months she’s the size of a 2 week old).
Any ideas as what to do? I don’t think she needs any more disabilities 😅

How sweet!
I would just keep monitoring her. If she’s still able to eat fine then it shouldn’t be a problem. I had one of my teenager chicks have her bottom beak not align perfectly but once she and her siblings were able to be out in the coop with the big girls she filed it down over time on rocks and now it’s perfect.
