I found my 2 month old roo gasping for air last night. He stretches his neck out with each breath and opens his mouth, working hard for each breath. He will seem to get a bit better for several hours, then do it again. His is eating bread and scratch and drinking a little. He is alert and looks around the room. When he is having his problem, his comb turns purplish, too. I have him a shot of tylan 50 last night also. What else can I do? Has anyone had this happen before? Thank you for any advice!!

You have a respiratory problem and not worms. The tylan 50 is good but you must make sure you give enough and often enough. You could also squirt a little Duramycin in back of mouth, maybe about 1/4 cc for chick this young.
