Help ! 6 Week Old Lavender Orpington Cockerel or Pullet??

Hey all! Here are more pics I just took this morning at 11 1/2 weeks! Anyone have anymore insight or a change of an opinion? The tail feathers seem a bit long?

Thank you all for your help so far!
God, I hate Lavender Orpingtons. 😫 😂

@Overo Mare - What do you think? I want to say it's a pullet going through that awkward tom-boy phase, but I'd be 100% sure it was a cockerel if it was at my house.

It's a pullet lol.

Hey all!

This is my first post on this forum and I’m excited to be a part of the community!

I just bought a Lavender Orpington chick from IFA 6 weeks ago. The hatchery says that there is a 95% chance of it being a pullet. I’ve tried doing my own research but it seems so hard to tell. I’m concerned because its crown is more developed than another Buff Orpington I’ve raised before when it was the same age. I’ll post more updated pictures at 8 weeks but I want to hear your opinions.

Is she (I hope it’s a she haha) a pullet or a cockerel? I’d like to know soon so I can decide if I need to get another lavender chick to replace it (roosters aren’t allowed in my area and I want to replace this chicken before the others grow too big that I can’t introduce another chick—don’t worry, I have some younger week old chicks)

Thank you all so much for your help! Looking forward to getting more involved and learning more. I tried to get pictures from all angles. The pictures are attached below:

What's your update? I'm curious! I was thinking pullet because my 5 week old LO chick (supposed to be a pullet) is much more boy-looking than yours. I'm hoping you got a pullet! Lol
your pics were so helpful!! i am also trying to sex a 5wk old LO and she (most likely he now lol) looks like just yours does! Such a bummer to see how often it seems like vent sexed LOs are inaccurate.

Here he is at 12 weeks! Honestly his comb hasn't darkened or gotten bigger since about 6 weeks old, but his feathers have changed.

I'm going with hermaphrodite..... is that an allowable answer 😂😂
It is fairly common for pullets to develop combs earlier than expected.
It is even more common for some cockerels to develop slowly.

A chicken with some traits of each gender can exist, but is incredibly rare compared to the previous two options. So I would wait at least 6-8 months before seriously considering that explanation, because that is long enough to recognize all of the normal males & females, all of the fast-developing ones, and most of the slow ones.
