Help! Baby chick (w/ Mama) is injured

I noticed one of my 5 day old baby chicks is keeping one of it's legs drawn up and laying down a lot. It can walk/scurry, but it limps. I assume it got injured somehow bc it wasn't like that this morning. Do I need to separate it or can I leave it with Mama? The Mama will peck/scoot it a bit if she notices that it's been laying down a while. Then the chick gets up and scurries around a minute. Just not sure what to do.

I would separate the chick from the mother just for a little while to check what is wrong with her.

I pulled it out and looked it over, but can't really find anything wrong. I put it back in and it went right back to Mama. This morning, it's still limping, but not as bad (yesterday sometimes it'd put a wing down to stabilize). It's able to keep up with it's siblings and eat/drink, so I'm just going to leave it for now. Maybe it's just a sprain.

I'd leave the chick with the mother for now in that case; if it's condition continues to get better then it'll be okay! Just keep a good eye on him.
