Help! corid dosing question

The Corid is usually mixed daily, just so that it doesn’t lie around in the waterer, getting soiled by the chickens. It doesn’t go bad per se, but the fresh water lessens the risk of drinking contaminated water. The poop contains more coccidia organisms, and the more they ingest, the sicker they can become. I would only use the severe outbreak dosage to treat coccidiosis, since any case requires rhem to drink enough of the medicated water. You could try taping a large funnel on top of the waterer to keep them from perching on top, but that is just what young chickens do. Even my old bantam hen likes to do it at 8 years old.
