HELP!!!! Found a "ROCK" inside an egg this morning!! (and other strange eggs) **PICS POSTED**

Wow! You got that from the store??
I was real freaked out when I cracked open one of my girls eggs and found what I thought was a rock. Once I cut it open I realized it was another egg.
I would try to cut it open and see just what the heck it is. Very odd coming from a commercial farm. :/
I have heard of someone finding a bread tie in one if their eggs! Weird...especially when you know how things "work" ya know?:p
Keep us posted!!

LOL...I had never heard of an egg inside an egg before this, so I was pret-ty freaked out. Now, I don't put anything past my girls.

I know this is an old post but I found the same thing in one of my duck eggs this morning! I tried to google it and this thread came up! It’s look just the the first pic!

UPDATE:
I cut the "rock" in half. The outside seemed to be like the outside shell of an m&m and the inside looked like semi hard yolk. Weird. Perhaps it was an egg inside an egg???
So was likely a 'lash egg' and not a rock.

Did you cut the thing open?

Yes, there was a normal size yolk and the
Was there a yolk in the egg too?
Could be a piece of tissue from inside reproductive tract or a 'lash egg'(puss from infection).
rest of the egg was fine. I don’t think it’s an infection because the egg came from my house duck, who is a family pet.
