I have several Red Sex Links from TSC that beaks started falling off after I got them. I think that they were de beaked at the hatchery but it did not work right. They all make do with their funny beaks. Maybe he needs to get used to it, You might try a crumble feed and moisten it until he gets used to eating with it like that.

The growing back depends on how far down it came off. His looks like it is at an angle so he may have a good chance of growing it back.

I think it will grow back, if you look at pics from day one and pics from yesterday the scanned part of his beak started off way up by his nostrils and yesterday was all the way down on the tip, so it must have grown back a little for it to have moved the scab, right?

There is a great thread for cross-beak birds. They usually suggest making a feed mash. You might get some pointers from that thread.
