I've heard people gently put prolapses back and the use preparation H around the vent area to help keep it in. They have some successes.

I would also check to see if she is trying to lay. See if you can feel an egg. Be careful you don't want to break it. Pop a gloved finger inside and if there's one there use a little lube to help her pass it. Warm baths and quiet dark warm places can also help. Some people also recommend a tums tablet to help expel an egg.

Watch to make sure other hens don't peck her vent. It's likely they will if they see red. You might have to be ready to separate her.

She is separated, she is on a towel in my basement. Nothing was out, it came out when I pushed it out. I put it back in though. I'll get a picture of her rump. Is she supposed to lay this early?
