Help!! Mama hen setting 12 eggs just killed by a raccoon- West Linn, Portland, OR

Emergency incubator needed- minutes ago, we just lost our mama hen who was setting 12 eggs. Have a heat lamp on them now but I've never done this before. Help?? West Linn (Portland) area... Will come pick up...

I just saw your post on homesteaders...Wish I could help, I have an incubator but I am in the eugene area I also read there where someone had a broody hen that just lost all their eggs, i think that would be your best bet if the momma is still broody

My husband made me a DIY incubator out of a styrofoam cooler from Walmart. I started out with 6 eggs, only 5 ended up being fertile. Another ended up being a quitter. So, out of the 6 I have have 4 set to hatch on Tuesday. I say go for the DIY, don't think you'll be disappointed! =)
