My barred rock, who was also raised from a chick, won't put weight on her right leg. She was perfectly fine yesterday, and when i went out this morning, one of my black sex links alerted me to her huddled behind the nesting boxes. The SL was going at her hard and that is when I saw her lame leg. I have separated the BR from the rest of my flock, and have brought her inside due to fear she will get fly trap. Her vent is red and protruding out a little. This had to of happened last night, I believe, because of how nasty her fluffy butt feathers have become.
She did eat, but not so interested in water.

Please help. I don't want to lose another bird.

I am sorry you are having to deal with this.
The first thing you need to do is soak her in a warm bath..a bucket or sink will do,
so you can get a good look at what is going on.
Look for where the bleeding is coming from.
