This is Buckwheat. He is a 13 Week old rooster that is usually very energetic, wild, and is scared when he is alone. I just went outside to find him standing scrunched up with his tail down. He isn’t doing the “alone noise” when I separate him. He normally is trying to pick fights with other roosters and even my hand, but he isn’t today. The temperature just changed from mid 60s to mid 50s (Farenheight). What is wrong with him? I don’t want to lose another chicken. This year has already been terrible with losing them.

Maybe they have been keeping him from food and water? I would isolate him in a dog crate with his own food and water. Offer it to him in a small cup. Moistened chicken feed, and scrambled egg or tuna can be good. Electrolytes might be helpful for a day or two. Look at his droppings, for any diarrhea or blood which could be from coccidiosis. Coccidiosis is treated with Corid if you think that might be a problem. He has that puffed up hunched look of coccidiosis.
