Help! What just came out of my duck?

Yes, unfortunately. You will have problems with 2 males and 1 female. She’s probably hiding out from them. When my females don’t want to mate, they will stay out of the water when the male is in. And if he gets in the water with them, they hi tail it out of there.

I worry when they lay something like that odd egg then the next day start acting off. When mine do this it's usually because there is something wrong with their repro-tract. This is why I asked when the egg was laid.

You're definitely going to need more females. Holderread recommends 4-6 females to every male.

Yes you should seperate her immediately. Sounds like she needs a vacation from those boys.

I thought that might be the case because it's been my experience that ducks normally lay their normal eggs in the morning and abnormal in the evening. I suspect she might be feeling off because she is trying to lay another egg, possibly a soft shelled one. Is there any way you could bring her inside and let her float around in a bathtub filled with warm water? I think if she were mine I might also give her a calcium citrate pill or some liquid calcium gluconate, meloxicam (for pain and swelling), and an antibiotic.
